About the class.

As a teacher, I am committed to fostering a learning environment where creativity, inquiry, and embodied exploration are central. My classes and choreography engage contemporary dance techniques while encouraging students to experiment, question, and discover their own artistic voices. Grounded in both technical precision and expressive range, my approach prioritizes each student’s personal development. I aim to support learners in building confidence, cultivating self-awareness, and establishing a sustainable, meaningful movement practice.

Currently teaching open adult contemporary and jazz community classes at Open Door Studios.

About the work.

My artistic practice centers on contemporary dance and film, developed through collaborative and interdisciplinary methodologies. Utilizing embodied research, I examine the complex relationships between body, place, memory, and ancestry. Though grounded in specific conceptual frameworks, my work seeks to create open-ended environments that allow audiences to construct their own meanings.
